[macvoiceover] Using IPhoto and how to get rid of VO saying blank all of the time

Hi:
I am wondering if there is some help in using the iphoto product with no vision 
using just voiceover?  I am having a hard time selecting photos.

Also, when I am reading a document, I am getting tired of hearing new line new 
line new line etc.  Is there a way to turn that feature off?
