Hello Everyone:
My experience with 13.1 is so far been nothing other than outstanding. I am one
of those who have played with the camera and find it wonderful to use. the
faster chip allows a visually impaired person to know when the camera is level
… suggesting left or right changes to bring about the level result. that might
sound strange though if you have the time and inkling try the camera :).
I had the privilege of purchasing 2 phones on Friday … one from the AT&T store
and one from the apple store. my only warning … it appears that the option
which allows a visually impaired person to have voice access to the
installation process may be deactivated on the new phones. when we took the
phone outside of the box at the AT&T store … we turned it on and noticed that
nothing happened. the agent at the AT&T store was aware of the startup process
and voiceover. we walked through the installation process and when it was
completed we activated Voiceover from the Accessibility menu.
The phone from the apple store worked out differently. They set up the
rudimentary features and then sent me home. thinking nothing of it I pulled the
phone out ready to use and guess what … silence. OH NO. Siri was not yet set up
so I could not activate VoiceOver that way.
I say all of this to say … if you are receiving a new phone you might wanna
have someone with vision on standby. I know that is not what anyone here wants
to hear though it might be necessary to get things underway.
Other than that, once everything is running I would update to 13.1. Using 13.0
was a bit of a strain … lol
Hopefully this proves useful to someone.
Take good care and I wish you enough.

Thanks for the warning. I am supposed to receive my new iPhone today and I
have been very nervous about the update. Anything in particular I should look
out for? As I’m not sure I will have an option to upgrade the software with
it being a new phone.

Hi, Keith:
What problems are you having with IOS 13.1? I hope I find your message in
interesting counterpoint with my latest one, and I have encountered nothing
but improvements since Upgrading.

Hello every one,
At one time you could download the latest Apple update and know that it was
going to work well, but not at this time.
Please for your own pease of mind give it a week or 2. Things have changed
some what at Apple and you now need to be more careful.
FYI.
