I figured out the select buttons. My main concern is with the radio buttons. Doesn't seem possible to customize the machine. ________________________________ From: macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Poehlman Sent: Saturday, November 07, 2009 7:16 AM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: The online Apple Store with VoiceOver the select buttons are in order of the table. I'd tried this site before from a PC screen reader, and didn't have any problems, so I wasn't expecting any with VoiceOver, given the simple layout of the site. On www.apple.com<http://www.apple.com>, I went to the Apple Store and selected the IMac. A table is presented, where each column is a different IMac model. I could interact with the table and read the info, but the focus wouldn't move to the very bottom row, where the "select" buttons are located. These buttons must be pressed to pick a particular model. I tried using the tab key, and could get to select buttons, but it wasn't obvious which button was for which model. Anyway, I pressed the select button for the appropriate model, and the configuration page appeared. This page seemed to have lots of problems. For example, when you navigate to the area where you choose the processor model, VoiceOver only says "bullet" The processor area is a radio button group. I was expecting that VoiceOver would identify the group, and I'd need to interact with the group to select one of the radio buttons. Am I doing something wrong? I must be, since it seems very surprising that Apple wouldn't make its store compatible with VoiceOver. Bryan
