This sounds quite similar to issues I'm having and further, I cannot find it
in disc utility either. I had the problem before the 1.2 upgrade though.

Subject: [macvoiceover] Strange problem with Victor Reader Stream
Permissions

When I first got my victor reader stream, I had no problem connecting it ot
my mac and transfering files. Since then the only thing I know of that has
changed is that I installed the 1.2 upgrade. Now I can not open "No Name"
which is the mount in /Volumes for the VRS. I can't change the permissions
with getinfo. when I used terminal and dis a sudo su to become root, and
then did a cd command with /Volumes/No Name, it said Autodisk mounted. Has
anybody had this problem or does anybody know what could be happening here?
Of course, besides the VRS upgrade there have been some updates on the Mac
end too. I've tried with both my ppc and intel machines and tried changing
the sd card.

Thanks for any help.
