Unfortunately it seems that you didn't leave the message that was sent to you
at the bottom of your message so I don't kow what you were already told. But
the brf file didn't really download to your screen; it just opened in safari
apparently instead of downloading. Now that it has downloaded, you just need to
hit enter on the file and delete the .txt and the file should be fine.
As for safari preferences, the last time you used safari it must have been left
in the passwords category or at least that is what is the case when this
happens to me. Just vo-arrow over to the toolbar and interact with the toolbar
and choose a different category and the passwords dialog will disappear.
