Hi Sarah, going to the toolbar is a way that you can get at the send button, but there is a nice shortcut which saves a lot of steps, and that is command shift d. So when you want to send an email, you can hit command shift d to send. I was using the toolbar to hit the forward button for the longest time, and then I was going through the menus one time, and found that the forward option had a shortcut of command shift f, so have been using that ever since.
