Ok, I may have bitten off more than I can chew here, a professional musician
friend in Boston is helping out with a church service April 19, we’re using
recorded music over Zoom. I half joking said I could send her a bass solo and
she can do some magic and make her guitar join it. Of course she said it was a
fun idea, now I have to not screw up the solo and record it. She says I can
send her an MP3, a WAV or a Garage Band track.
I don't have time to learn the ins and outs of Garage band, can I just have my
12 year old hit record and I play along with my usual metronome through a
headset? Or do I have to keep time with Garage Band?
If an MP3 or WAV is a good solution, wha’ts the best app to record that?
Oh, don't worry about the audio interface, my bass effects processor has USB
out, and I have a back up USB interface I can plug into. This means I can’t use
a lack of connectivity to bail out of the plan.
Thanks much,
Ian
