Hi Ian,
I’ve tried that, but end up in a “scroll area” with a lot of files but am not
able to find a folder to save the attachments to. It’s not the usual save as
dialogue box. Strange.
Thanks Ian.

You can also save all the attachments at once by selecting save attachments
from the file menu. If you’re needing to save them anyways this is sometimes
quicker than saving each attachment individually, even if you have to save
them to different folders, it’s sometimes quicker to save them all to one
folder then do copy and move within finder.
Tuscia, I have to admit I don’t know about the quick look attachments
function activated by command y, what’s the procedure after you hit the hot
key?

Hi Everyone,
I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I’ve been using my Mac for almost
8 years, and still have trouble opening attachments in an email message
when there are multiple attachments. I have an iMac Early 2009 running El
Capitan. I use the Apple Mail program.
Right now I have an email with 3 attachments. I press command + downarrow
to go to the end of the email message and then highlight the attachment I
wish to open. I then press VO Space, and choose Open Attachment from the
context menu that pops up. The first attachment opens even if it appears
that I have the third attachment selected. I try over and over moving the
insertion point to the attachment I want to open, only to have the wrong
one open. This is so frustrating. What am I doing wrong? There’s got to be
an easier way!
Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.
