Ok, I thought I remembered how to add an existing audio file, like an M4A Voice
Memo, to a track in GarageBand on Mac. I did it yesterday and managed ok, but
when I tried to repeat the process it gave me one of those, what do you think
you’re doing? dialogues.
What worked for me once yesterday was to copy the file from Finder, go into a
track on GarageBand and paste it. I really really thought I did the exact same
thing, but nothing worked today.
If this is old hat to you, can you remind me what to make sure of, like make
sure to interact with the track, or make sure you aren’t interacting with the
track, or do a mouse click, or whatever you do don’t mouse click the track.
Things like that.
Thanks,
Ian
