I have a partial success with my different shortcut CMD+Shift+Circumflex. But
only when I open a mail for just reading with enter. When I hit CMD+r for
responding, it dosn't work anymore and I get the circumflexes written ...

I think you should try that, before you do, be sure you have more than one
window open, otherwise it will appear not to work.
that keyboard appears to mirror mine. I wonder whether a keyboard can be

pressed alone is paragraph. I found the accent key though: It's two keys

Do you think I could change that? and bring the accent key to the key left
to number 1?

second row from top left of 1, above tab key. press vo k to enter keyboard
help where you can safely press keys to hear their name and function, you
can press more than one key, then press esc to leave keyboard help.
