I know there is way to do this in Outlook, it is in mail options, I will look for it and let you know but I also if the recipient of your mail chooses not to be tracked that way it may not work ... in terms of other email programs, I do not know

will advise on Outlook soon if I find it

Is there a way in mail to assign receipts to mail messages? There are times that I want a read receipt attached to a mail so I know it got to where I want it to.
