Lou, Yikes. Where were you several months ago when I purchased Logic Pro
because a Mac engineer told me it could be configured to work with
VO.<smile> Then I paid an Apple consultant to come out and help me
configure it. And $300 later, I had an ap that I couldn't use and had to send back. I'd love to talk to you (even offlist) about which items are accessible in Logic. It seems that Greg had offered an explanation as to
why the program was ultimately inaccessible. It seemed as if it had
something to do with the graphical interface Apple uses in development? (I'll have to find that email again.) If I could actually use Logic more easily than GB, I'd purchase it again. I'm trying to make a record-- or at least really good demos--and I've figured my only choice is CakeWalk for the PC. But oh how I'd love to use some Mac ap so that I could share work on
the project with other engineers. Please, oh please advise. <smile>

garage band is as accessible as it can be but has limitations etc.
its not an audio editor it is a basic multi track midi audio tool
but I personally recommend logic studio as there's more to it and its
getting more and more accessible due to guys like me etc

Just curious, what's wrong with garage band? Is it less accessible

Hey, John. I just downloaded Cacophony. Tell me about this
thing. It looks decent! Are the individual tracks accessible?
What can you doo with it as a totally blind user?

I may not even buy Amadeus. Depends on how good Cacophony is. My
tests
so far have confirmed that it's a pretty dang good editor, and hey,
it's multitrack! But I'm not taking chances.

If you buy Amadeus Pro you will not need Fission.

Nice. I know some people that need to hear this, mainly the
higher- ups
in our AT department who slam me because I use a Mac. Did you use
Hijack or Amadeus? I ask because I want one that will do
everything,
and if Amadeus doesn't record Skype calls. Well, let's just say
I'll
be spending more money than I should be spending on Hijack,
Fision,
and Amadeus. $90. As a guy with no income except from borrowed
money,
that's ridiculous. Although I could buy Cacophony for cheaper,
and it
seems to work great. Everybody go check it out at
http://www.bannister.org. Click on Software, then Cacophony.

Hello, all on these lists. I have cross-posted this so many more
people might get to listen to this one. Today, Dennis Bartlett,
Lewis
Brock, and I participated in a Skype podcast concerning
switching to
the Mac from Windows. We also get off on some other subjects,
and it
is a neat podcast. Note that my audio is a little lower than the
other two guys, and that is my fault. You will still be able to
listen comfortably to our show, and you will like it, if you are
interested in this subjcet. You can find the show at

We are perfectly willing to do many more if you would like. All
