Howdy, Dave. Maybe you've inadvertently done away with the preview pain in Mail. This would account for VO J not doing what it's supposed to do. Find the horizontal splitter before the message content area. Use a double mouse click, however you have that set up, and your VO J should return.

Hello List!

I seem to have accidentally configured Apple Mail such that, when in the messages table, the keystroke 'vo+j' no longer moves VO to the message view area and starts reading. Similarly, 'vo+j', when in a message, no longer goes back to the 'messages' table. How can I restore this behavior?

Thanks,
