You can simply Delete the App with Cmd Del, however this does not remove all
files related to the App.
The free download 'App Cleaner" will do the job.

Hi Folks,
I want to remove Garage Band because I believe it is having issues. If I
uninstall and start over and still have issues with being, "busy," when in
the app, I believe it could need more memory. But for now I want to try
and uninstall of the app. However, am not finding the directions to do
this. If someone could please kindly point me in the right direction I'd be
super grateful. Thanks.
