Yes, the function is there and accessible. However, when pressing the record button, either clicking or pressing it, there's know way of knowing that you're recording. Also, I asoom that the record button toggles from record to stop, since there is no stop button, or perhaps you can't see that with VO? I tried to record a podcast episode with it, and the record or play buttons wouldn't work.

It seems that when you are playing some of the demo songs more of the buttons had help tags, but, it is quite possible that I am incorrect.Keith Reedy On Feb 12, 2008, at 2:20 PM, The BlindTechs Network wrote:I don't see anything different, I just look and have updated everything and nothing more is labled. can you tell me where you see the new items?e The BlindTechs Network www.theblindtechsnetwork.com info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 623-565-9357 (phoenix Arizona voice) (206) 984-9484 (Fax Phone) 562-219-2309 (Los Angeles California voice) On Feb 12, 2008, at 12:12 PM, Keith Reedy wrote: Hi folks, Feel free to pass this along to other list if you like.Having and interest in audio, I have been watching Garage band. I have downloaded the new Leopard update and the iLife updates and I have noticed the following.1 I am now able to play the demo songs. 2 it would appear that I can now read the track windows. 3 controls are marked more clearly. 4 It would appear that I can solo an instrument. 5 I can change levels in the mixer window.I am sure that other things are usable, however, I do not yet know how to use Garage band well, however, it would appear that I can record tracks and mix them. I have not tried this, but, it looks like the functionality is there to do so, but, I am willing to be corrected.Keith ReedyClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
