Hello Russell and all:

This has probably been answered so if so please forgive me.

Do you happen to know the name of the drive? If it is plugged in you might find it on your desktop.

Press Vo shift +d and tab around and see if you find it. If so, perform a vo + spacebar and you should see some files in the window that appears.

Hopefully this information proves helpful to you. Let us know.

Hi all,

In preparation for getting my new Mac, I copied a lot of files to an external USB drive, thinking that I would just plug it into my Mac and copy the files to the Mac... not quite so easy, I'm afraid!

Where do I go to find my USB drive? I see no indication anywhere of where this external drive would show up!

Thanks again,

Russell
