I saw malware shut down a whole school system 10 or 11 years ago, so I wouldn't discount a little protection, especially since the Mac is becoming a lot more .

I haven't really honestly heard much discussion about people on the Mac side of things getting malware, spyware, trogens, viruses, or else other infections. Having said this, OSX is as much an OS as, say, windows Linux, or whatever may be. I don't discount it, but, I'd say the odds would be incredibly rare. On that note, it would be interesting to see what others have to say about this, as I would actually like to in the long run get a virus scanner program just to make myself a bit more at ease.Thanks. If I'm correct, which program would yousuggest using?
