[mac4theblind] want your key repeat in lion back?

Well, with one line in terminal, you can have it. It's disabled by
default because now when you press and hold a key, a list of alternate
characters appears but not when using vo.
Put this line in terminal to restore your old friend "key repeat" and vowell
away!
defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false
