Make sure it is in one of the proper formats for iTunes...i.e. mp3 aac etc.
Now highlite your song, and copy the song to the clipboard
Now find your itunes folder and the folder automatically add to itunes and
past the song in that folder
Now quit iTunes and restart and it should be in your library
