[mac4theblind] Re: braille pen

that's about right.

David, what kind of "keyboard" are you discussing with the braille pen. Mine
has a 12-cell braille display which may not seem much but forward and
backward are fast and easy. It has 6 braille dots, 2 keys which serve as
either function keys--shift and control--or can function as dots 7 and 8 in
braille. It has a space bar and joy stick and, of course, the forward and
backward functions for the 12 braille cells on either side of those cells.
It weighs about 6 ounces, I think. I commented to someone, the way the keys
are shaped--the function keys and space bar and then braille cells, almost
looks like a face with a big grin.

There are two of them. One with just a keyboard and the other with both
keyboard and refreshable braille display. They are designed with portable
devices like iPhones in mind.
