[mac4theblind] application for writers

Hi all,
I am a new Czech writer. I write small stories and books. I write all materials
in windows with Ms Word. Is there a way to do this wirk on my mac? I know
Pages, but accessibility isn't as in word and I have problems with formatting
text. There is openoffice.org, gut is inaccessible, libreoffice.org, but
accessibility is also broken.
Can you help? Do you know some accessible editor with more features than
textedit?
