Hi Kim,
I use a combination of Vu Scan and Abbyy Fine Reader. I have an old flatbed
scanner which Vu Scan supports. Vuscan is very easy to use and accessible. I
use it for the OCR portion and then Abbyy Fine reader to convert to the
desired readable format. I don’t deal with many complex formats in home use of
these products. Perhaps others can comment on their experiences in that
regard.

Hi John and all. I have not heard of vuescan? What does it do? Is it good?
Would like to hear a little more about how people have used it. I tend to just
use KNFB reader on my Iphone.

Abby FineReader Pro, DocuScan Plus, Prizmo and VueScan come to mind.
There might be a few others, but I have those on my system.
