If you're looking for the same ease-of-use and all of the study features that
are in Kurzweil there is no equivalent app on the Mac. If what you want is to
scan and you don't mind messing around a little bit or you don't mind having
your scanning done in the cloud, then the programs that John mentioned might be
fine. Alternatively, you could run Windows on your Mac using fusion and still
use Kurzweil.
