Hi ALl,
I am working with a developer of a third party App on the Mac. It was highly
accessible until they moved it to a different server. Now, only one screen,
which involves a search function, now has the buttons and field interactions
all jumbled. For instance, I used to be able to move around the screen with
VO-right alone and hear the fields/buttons in a logical sequence, and interact
as I would expect. Now VO-right begins in a different location, and stops
partway through the screen. I can move around completely with Tab but if I
VO-space to activate something it announces a different button. It as thought
the field and button assignments are jumbled.
Do any of you know enough or can point me to a expert on the programming of
the navigation control? The developer has been extremely courteous helping just
me through this weird change.
He is running 10.12 and sees similar behavior as I do with oS 10.10. I will try
to get help upgrading to 10.12 but I don’t think that will resolve the problem,
if at all. i would appreciate any paths you think the programmers can follow
to uncover the VO navigation issue.
