Dear all, subject line pretty much explains it all.
Personally, I don't like the change and what do others think about it?
Fortunatly I haven't upgraded to Mavericks.

What if one doesn't have a lot of internet data?
What if they don't want or feel comfortable sharing contact information up into
the iCloud?
Even worse, your account is hacked?
 What do you do then?

I'm sure there are more questions that one could state about the move being
possibly bad.

I don't use iCloud and you may of probably guessed that having preferred using
my iPhone 5 with the USB Lighting cable is the preferred way for me to sink
contacts between iPhone and my mac.

So whit this said, I just wondered how do others feel about this new change and
no I'm not an old person. lol Just simply like local data for contacts anyways
over online.

I look forward to starting a discussion about this, should it be of interest to
people.
