[mac4theblind] Re: Braille Displays

I enjoy the Refreshabraille. It's portable and has all the functions I
like from a display. On the other hand, there are more portable
options that do more, like having a note pad, clock, etc, such as the
Perkins Mini. The Refreshabraille does not have these features. I
don't like the layout of the keyboard on this device, since the
spacebar is at an odd angle to the keyboard and is far away from it,
but some people may find it ok to use. I assume that the Perkins Mini
will work with Mountain Lion, and can confirm it works with the yet to
be released iOS 6.
There is also the new Focus 14, which will be released next month,
though I have not had a chance to test this device.

Hope this helps,
Scott
