Well, it may be, but I have found a few others who experience the problem as
well so I guess we’ll see how it goes. It didn’t do it today at all, so maybe
something has finally worked itself out. I have no idea.

I've never had that issue before. Sounds like a hardware problem to me. Or
it's more likely a hardware problem.
hope that helps.

That part about hanging up may be true. I can’t be sure. I think sometimes
it does it even if I just wait and let the line clear. That problem is not
as persistent though as that of it coming up on that initial screen when all
I’ve done is press the power button. I’ve shut the phone down and rebooted a
couple different times, but that doesn’t seem to change the problem. Very
strange. Thanks for your input.

Hmmm strange. I'm not able to reproduce this problem. The only time I get
music to play is if I do a two-finger double tap to start it or if
Voiceover sometimes mistakes my single finger double tap for a two finger
double tap which I think that could be happening. How do you answer/hang up
a call on your iPhone? I ask this because some people have reported that
when you answer or hang up a call with a two finger double tap, music
starts playing. I haven't come across this bug in either the public or beta
versions myself but if it persists, you may want to send feedback to Apple
about it. Other than that, I don't know what to say.

Oh. I’d never heard it called that before. LOL! Thanks.

A magic tap is a double tap with 2 fingers. I dunno why it's called the
magic tap, but it is. I've even managed to do the magic tap with just my
edge of the palm, the fleshy part of the hand. Yeah fun times when you
your phone appears to play music out of nowhere lol!

Magic tap? What does that mean? Thanks for your answers. Appreciate it.

Sound check is the normalize function. And the music thing happens to me
even when I go in to settings and not have it show the stuff I bought
online. I just magic tap and stop it.
hope that helps.

What does sound check mean in Apple Music settings? Also, I just
started using Apple Music a few days ago. Now at odd times, music comes
up on my screen where I unlock and a lot of times a song just starts
playing. I have no idea why it does this and sometimes it is very
inconvenient. This happens even when the music app is turned off in app
switcher. Any ideas?
