If Jesus came down to earth,
I would say to him
"We would have taken better care of you
if we'd known you were going
to live so long.
The Mamluks are rallying round the Suez Canal
they came down in a whirlwind
to show us their innovations in devotion
and they're opening for U2.
You should go, maybe it'll cheer you up."
