is any of the learned members familiar with the expression
"half-silk?"
I ask since i read it in a text and find somewhat less than clear what it
is supposed to be, in two versions of english I am close with a silk is
either 'ok', a senior attorney and not an Esq, und so weiter,
but an 'half silk' does what?
it may also be a criminal slang, if any of you is better equipped in
dictionaries, I'd be good at bein grateful
