I'm poor, a regular, and the Met is the wealthiest museum in the country, I
have no problems with a "from each according to their ability" strategy.
The Getty has much more money. The Getty Trust, which runs the museum, is
the third largest foundation in the U.S. But yeah, the Met's doing alright.
One great perk of working in a museum: free admittance to all others.. Best
