[lit-ideas] What's ultimate reality for anyway?

When Omar asked me whether I trusted myself to understand the ultimate
reality, I jumped on a punchline ("It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta ...")
instead of taking it more seriously.
My more serious answer to Omar is that "understand" is not really what I want
to do with ultimate reality.

"Understand" is too Gnostic, in that it implies control and mastery, which
are delusional relationships. While I search for a better phrase, this post is
to acknowledge the serious intent of Omar's question, which I blunted with a
too-easy reply.
