Agreed!

Previously mentioned friends also make "tinctures" of organic herbs and
vegetables. A "supertonic" tincture combines cayenne, garlic,
horseradish, and echinacea in a base of organic cider vinegar. Good
stuff. Really opens the eyes...and the sinuses.

They are also Dr. Richard Schulze enthusiasts, who is worth
investigating. See:

http://www.800herbdoc.com/home_1024x768.asp

and note the huge disclaimer he posts, advising people to consult
allopathic (regular) medical doctors in case of illness.

While I can't vouch for any of these things as remedies, the "tonics"
definitely seem to work.

A.A. I would think that an oil base in addition to the acid (vinegar) might
make whatever might be in these, uh, ingredients, more effectively absorbed.
And maybe not. Personally, I'd just as soon have real food, with pepper and
horseradish on it to make it taste better. I generally stay away from advice
from people who sell stuff.
