Simon: take a trip to New York, speak to the
families of those who lost relatives on 9/11 and
then ask yourself whether its worthwhile
inflicting the same grief on other people in the
world.
If they are relatives of al-Qaeda folk, no grief
would be too intense for them. If they are
al-Qaeda folk themselves, no punishment too
terrible, protracted, or barbaric.
