such a picayunish  little point -- but, isn't it: "she done him wrong"?  I 
only ask  because if it is, well, it makes all the difference in the world, 
doesn't  it?

Actually, it took me to read the whole lyrics to find who had done wrong to  
who.
 
Since the title was "Frankie and Johnnie" -- two male names in Connecticut  
--, I had to do some research to find out that Frankie is short for Francine, a 
 common name in the South.
