ck: Yes, I agree. In Eric's terms, though, the war is justified as 
retalitation for 9/11--"blood lust," or, to recall a familiar, stupid 
refrain from that time, "We've got to do SOMETHING!" No, we did not. I'm not 
so sure it's just about oil now, however. Something else sneaked in there. 
Something about world religious domination. You're right--still stinks of 
oily hypocrisy. I just found out yesterday that I lost a client to that 
crappy war. Good kid. He'd been furious that the army lied to him when he 
first signed up for the national guard. His word, not mine: Lied.

It's not blood lust, Carol.  It's oil lust.  And any price is worth it 
because of what oil will be worth in the very near future.
