Previously cited:
"Mr. Qaissi had energetically filled the void,
traveling abroad with slide shows to argue that
abuse in Iraq continued, as head of a group he
called the Association of Victims of American
Occupation Prisons."
Gee, I wondered ... WHO IS FUNDING that group?
Well, so far my research into who is funding the
group turned up only that:
* The group claims to be run and founded by Haj
Ali in BAGHDAD, according to his own appeal posted
on http://www.uruknet.info/?p=17939.
* WHO IS HAJ ALI OF BAGHDAD? NONE OTHER THAN THE
MAN WHO LIED ABOUT HIS IDENTITY AS THE MAN ON THE
BOX (Ali Shalal Qaissi). PLUS HIS GROUP IS BASED
IN JORDAN, NOT BAGHDAD AS CLAIMED! SEE BELOW.

The man whose haunting image changed the world is
now an individual, with a name, a face, and a
mission. Ali Shalal Qaissi, the man pictured
standing on a box, with a black frock and
electrodes attached to his fingers, was imprisoned
and tortured in Abu Ghraib prison.
Qaissi, known as "Haj Ali," now uses the famous
image of himself on his business cards.
Based in Amman, Jordan, he founded the Association
of Victims of American Occupation Prisons. He now
travels the Middle East raising awareness and
funds to support prisoners and their families.

If anyone wants to help figure out who is funding
the group, feel free to add your two cents.
