There really is no nuance that will address a suicidal jihadist. Sure you can encourage Muslims to promote enlightened Islam over the literalist versions, but that has no effect right now. Right now, the jihad is on. Right now, the deluded would-be martyr is driving his truck full of C4 into a hospital, market, or schoolyard.
