It's a case -- not of beer -- but of people making a virtue of necessity.

Most humans dwelling in a region of tiny countries constantly at war, constantly shifting boundaries, would, if only to sell beer, become polyglot blokes. How comfy then to advance this acclimatization as a particular excellence ... like circus clowns decrying those who cannot cram legions of their kin into tiny cars.
