If only George Bush were Teddy Roosevelt, he would know that you may
carry a big stick but should also speak softly. Good Lord, Lawrence,
who do you know past the age of 12 or 13 who doesn't respond to "Do
what I'll say or I'll kick your ass" by getting their back up? And
who, even knowing full well that an American air war could mess up
Iran really badly, would trust the strategic geniuses who have clearly
demonstrated that they don't have a clue what to do then and have, in
fact, stretched the US military to the near the breaking point in
quagmire in a country not half the size of Iran. I was reading smarter
sounding ideas in Astounding Science Fiction when I was thirteen.
