Very perceptive of M. McEvoy, but wrong due to being wrong. Mine on dear Uncle Tony was not Irish nor even of European extraction so far as anyone knows. Most of the family holds to the belief that he was Abyssinian and wrote the music to Patti Smith's "Pissing In a River" from her album "Radio Ethiopia". This was two generations before Patti Smith came along of course, but I'm sure that JL remembers well the song if not the album. In fact, JL is probably more of an expert on my uncle than I am due to a long standing feud between the Abyssinian Gearys and the Adirondack Geeerees who were Iroquois and presumably occupied the Adirondacks in New York. There's a big dispute as to which group settled where first. But that's all old history -- but a noble history and one not to be dismissed summarily. It did produce me after all. It humbles me to realize how many people had to be born and die just to produce me. Thank you, Baby Jesus.
