Our newspaper has published the 2010 salaries of the highest paid education
administrators and teachers in eleven school districts. What to learn from
this? If I were a talented and gifted co-ordinator, I could significantly
increase my wages? If I were a superintendent or an operations director or
merely an English facilitator, an athletic director or a literacy coach, I'd be
wealthier? Nope. The take-home message is that the most expensive teacher
(actually he's a "facilitator" and a teacher) in ten school districts is
named...Leonard Terrible. Zeno Idzerda makes less than him; Stanley
Esselstrom, a principal, more.
