A clinical reflection that may spark diatribes, but is also amenable to fact-checking.

1) Diabetes is one of the most expensive illnesses to treat. In long-term cash, it's one of the pinnacles.

2) Fat people are prone to diabetes.

3) As a group, Mexicans are particularly prone to diabetes.

4) Given the number of uninsured fat people and uninsured Mexican illegals, all US health care -- whether public or private -- is headed for apocalypse.

FURTHER

1) Stupid people are one of the most expensive liabilities of any society.

2) Stupidity cannot be treated or ameliorated.

3) This is not a syllogism or proof.
