Back and forth, back and forth. Nothing alters the fact that the
United States of America invaded another sovereign nation based on
tenuous, largely discredited hearsay blown up for propaganda purposes.
We have, in effect, said that any nation that suspects another nation
of evil intent is, ipso facto, justified in invading that country,
decimating its infrastructure, and killing and maiming several tens of
thousands of its people.

Saddam was evil. Osama must be destroyed. Our cowardly warmongers also
advocate murder justified by their traumas and fantasies. As much of
the world sees it, this puts the United States of America in the same
league. And who is to say they are wrong. The reputation accrued by
the generous victor of WWII is shredded, probably gone forever.
