Ciao a tutti,
C'è stato molto dibattito recentemente sulla scarsità di mezzi a
disposizione di OpenSSL, un progetto su cui si fonda la riservatezza di
buona parte di Internet.
Ho appena letto un messaggio sulla mailing list degli sviluppatori, da
parte di Steve Henson, probabilmente il leader del progetto.

Speaking for myself. I've contributed a significant amount to the
OpenSSL project not least of which is the last 15 years of my life.
While I have spent a great deal of my free time on OpenSSL I have also
been driven by commercial necessity. That meant I had to give some
priority to matters which actually paid the bills.
That can and will change and I hope to working on OpenSSL full time in
the near future along with several of my colleagues.

Steve Hanson è una persona che parla poco, e quando lo fa, non è a vanvera.
Credo che a breve qualche grossa azienda, o gruppo di esse, sosterrà
fattivamente OpenSSL.
