That > directory will show up in your Nethood. Working on that. Seems set up OK on the Linux box (or rather, I get no errors from testparm), so I guess I just have to set up W2k. Of course, this install of my printer in Linux winds up with the wrong driver -- in spite of my having chosen the right one, & when I'd installed cups (this time) I can't open the gui.
