I have a new 19" CRT monitor which I have set up with the use of xf86config in Slackware 9.1. This monitor is rated 1600x1200 @ 75Hz 1280x1024 @ 85 Hz I set it up as, 1600x1200 which is fair enough but I'm sure I'm only geting 60Hz I feel reasonably sure SW91 can do 1600x1200 @ 75Hz but I don't seem able to get it. Here is the monitor section /etc/X11/xf86config # ********************************************************************** # Monitor section # ********************************************************************** # Any number of monitor sections may be present Section "Monitor" Identifier "AOC" # HorizSync is in kHz unless units are specified. # HorizSync may be a comma separated list of discrete values, or a # comma separated list of ranges of values. # NOTE: THE VALUES HERE ARE EXAMPLES ONLY. What should I change if anything ? John To unsubcribe send e-mail with the word unsubscribe in the body to: Linux-Anyway-Request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?body=unsubscribe
