John, I did a clone and don't see the different branches. Where would they be? What does all this mean for building the DLL? The problem was just a misplaced statement. Many improvements have been made. However, a lot more work is needed before the library will be ready for the next release. This work has priority over BrailleBlaster, because people who are using the library in other applications need it. BrailleBlaster will be updated to use the more powerful braille engine when it is ready. Two conversion modes are now available. the first, called transinxml takes utdml and replaces the text in an xml file with the braille translation, without altering the xml tags except for the insertion of a meta tag to give information about the translation. See the file transinxml.cfg in the lbu_files directgory. The second conversion module produces brf from utdml. See the file brf.cfg Two other conversion modules are merely stubs at present. the first is utd2pef.c and the second is utd2volumes.c This last will eventually be able to divide a book into volumes with tables of contents, title pages, etc. John -- John J.
