Vic,

msword2brl is a Linux shell script. I don't know if it can be made to
work on Windows. Among other things, it requires the antiword package.

Another way to get output from Word is to save the file as xml then see
if your .bat file will work with that xml file. It should preserve a lot
of the formatting.

Please do me a favor. Since you are a seasoned screenreader beta tester,
could you look at the GUI for BrailleBlaster? It will be released
tomorrow. You will need a 64-bit JRE (Java Runtime Environment) It
should work nicely. most of the choices on the menus are inactive, since
this is just to get feedback on the GUI itself. The open and save
choices on the file menu brinng up dialog boxes to see how they look and
affect Jaws, but they do nothing. You can type in the window that comes
up when you start the program, but nothing is saved. There will be a
message on the list with instructions for downloading, installing and
running the program.

Thanks,
John
