Yes; I, too, have had the odd problem with the contacts on the camera back.
I put it down to the back being a bit "flexible". However, the winder and
camera base are certainly not 'flexible" in any major degree.
Besides, I'd removed & replaced the winder several times, cleaning contacts
all 'round, I even used contact cleaner and "stabilant" a anti-oxidant for
contacts. All to no avail.
The winder would power the camera and rewind, but not advance the
film. Then, suddenly, it worked.
I am at a loss to explain it!
Anybody have a better idea?
