I love the wooden ships, but especially when they are the "normal" thing, and used everyday ;-)
This one were in Gambia, but I've seen someones -so beautiful- in Indonesia, where the "shipyards" are on the beach itself...

   Very true!  They are indeed yet more beautiful when
they are worn from use. 
   Here in New England there exist the remains of shipyards
that were little more than a barn on a beach on a river
close to the sea.  Real shipyards are better than remains. :-)
